RHINOPLASTY
Integrating rhinoplasty & revision rhinoplasty
“…I am bothered about the hump…””…I
just think my nose is too big for my face…””…
I don´t like the tip of my nose…”…my nose
is too wide…” etc.
The truth is that being just in the middle of the face is the
most noticeable feature that can change your look like nothing else.
Effectively, many people willing to have a nose correction have beautiful
eyes and facial features that are disturbed by disproportionate nose.
Others have a too prominent or retracted chin that is changing also
your profile or you may have had an injury to your nose when you were
a child or as a youngster that has changed the shape of your nose.
In any case it is mandatory a thorough study of your facial features
from all angles, sides bottom, top, oblique and inside and also a
functional examination to determine the kind of correction that you
may need.
The idea is not to change totally your nose but to make those changes
that will integrate your nose within the context of you facial features
harmoniously avoiding this way the operated nose look. Find

EYELIDS
Upper eyelid analysis
Excess skin in the upper eyelid is the indication for having
this procedure done. Watch out ! sometimes the skin hungs down your
upper eyelid because of an eyebrow that has dropped down. The treatment
is totally different in this case and you will not need to have an
scar on the upper eyelid.
The results of this short procedure, that is normally performed under
local anaesthesia, give an open regard and refreshed sight.
This procedure can be performed in conjuction with other interventions.
An adequate analysis is needed before proceeding. The pictures we
need are specific for this procedure. Contact us for further information.
Lower eyelid analysis
Usually, are two the kind of complaints that can be addressed by performing
a lower blepharoplasty. Eyes bags, eyebags with skin excess…”
I have the impression of looking tired…”is the most common
phrase used by patients needing a correction of their lower eyelid.
The operation can be done without a visible scar in some cases and
via an incision under the lower eyelid eyelashes.
Sometimes a drop of the check can produce this effect in which case
a the best approach will be elevating the cheek. The pictures we need
for an analysis are specific for this procedure. Contact us for further
information. Find

EAR SURGERY
Otoplasty reduces the size of large ears or sets prominent ears back
closer to the head as well as repairs possible anomalies in chape
due to trauma or congenital origin. Ear surgery can be performed on
adults or children from 4 years of age onwards. In adults and grown
up children is performed by our surgeons under local anaesthesia through
a small incision behind the ear usually holding the ear in the ideal
place by using few suture stitches in strategic places of the ear.
Non or very little skin is removed. The procedure usually lasts 1h
for both ears.
It is important to asses the shape of your ears and quality of your
cartilage to choose the right combination of procedures to follow.
The end result needs has to be a naturally shaped ears avoiding overcorrection
which normally give kincked cartilages and Mr Spoke´s looking
ears.

BROW LIFT
The brow lift procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal
lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired.
At the same time the surgeon will aim for giving back to your eye
an young smooth contour that may sort out an apparent upper eyelid
skin excess. An assessment of your facial features is compulsory in
order to obtain the best possible result for you.
The methods used by our surgeons are minimally invasive via small
incisions in the hair bearing scalp.
A forehead lift is often performed in conjunction with a facelift,
as is eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) especially if skin overhang
in the upper eyelids.
Patients who are bald, who have a receding hairline, or who have had
previous upper-eyelid surgery may still be good candidates for forehead
lift. The surgeon will simply alter the incision location or perform
a more conservative operation.

FACE LIFT (RHYTIDECTOMY)
The face? The neck? Or the face and the neck?
The effects of sun or stress make peoples faces age. A facelift (technically
rhytidectomy) can set back the clock. It can't stop the aging process
but can improve the signs of aging. During a facelift excess fat can
be removed, muscles can be tightened and the skin of the face and
neck can be redraped. A facelift can be done in conjunction with a
forehead lift, eyelid surgery or nose reshaping. A facelift makes
you look younger and gives you a fresher appearance. This can inprove
your self-confidence. But remember that it doens't give you a totally
different look.
It can be done in various ways. The neck can be corrected separately
or together with the face. The incision used by our surgeon will be
the shortest that can be used according to your needs. It may vary
from an incision under your lower eyelid, an incision in front of
your ear or after the ear.
The best candidate for a face lift is a woman or a man whose face
and neck have begun to sag, but whose skin still has some elasticity
and whose bone structure is strong and well defined. Most patients
are in their forties to sixties, but facelifts can be done successfully
on people in their seventies or eighties as well. A face lift can
make you look younger and fresher, and it may enhance your self- confidence
in the process.

FACIAL IMPLANTS
Facial implants can enhance your appearance and bolster your self
esteem. If you are looking for improvement, not perfection, in your
appearance and are realistic in your expectations, you may find that
a facial implant is the right choice for you.
Plastic surgeons will frequently use such implants to bring better
balance to the features of a younger patient. For instance, a teenage
girl may want her nose reshaped or her chin brought forward so that
these traits are better proportioned. The more mature patient may
choose to have an implant placed in conjunction with another cosmetic
procedure. For example, during a facelift, a patient may wish to have
implants placed over the cheekbones to help restore a more youthful
appearance. Implants may also be selected to fill out a face that
appears "sunken" or tired.

CHIN AUGMENTATION
Chin surgery, also known as
mentoplasty, is a surgical procedure
to reshape the chin either by
enhancement with an implant
or reduction surgery on the
bone. Many times your surgeon
may recommend chin surgery to
a patient having nose surgery
in order to achieve facial proportion,
as the size of the chin may
magnify or minimize the perceived
size of the nose. Chin surgery
helps provide a harmonious balance
to your facial features so that
you feel better about the way
you look.
